About
A small shop with a long view.
Bay Hill Kitchens is a family-run cabinetmaker based in Oakville. We design and build bespoke kitchens, closets, vanities, and built-ins for homeowners and trade partners across the Greater Toronto Area.

Founded in 2008. Built one project at a time.
Dave Burrell founded Bay Hill in a 1,200 sq ft shop with one workbench and a quiet conviction: cabinetry should be built by the hands that designed it, in a place the client can visit.
Fifteen years later, the shop has grown — but the conviction hasn't changed. Every project still passes across Dave's bench before it leaves for install. Every drawer box is still made in-house. Every door is still finished by someone whose name we know.
We turn down the projects we can't do well. We hold the schedule we promise. We answer the phone after the install. None of that is glamorous. It's just how a cabinetmaker is supposed to operate.
What we hold to
Four small things that add up.
Built locally
Every component is fabricated in our Oakville shop. Nothing is imported, nothing is outsourced overseas.
One team, one accountability
The people who design your project also build it and install it. There is no hand-off where things get lost.
Honest materials
Solid hardwoods, plywood casework, conversion-varnish finishes. The materials a cabinetmaker would put in their own home.
Patient timelines
We don't promise impossible weeks. A well-built kitchen takes the time it takes. We tell you that on day one.

Built here. Built to stay.
Our shop in Oakville isn't a showroom — it's a working space where projects take shape from raw boards to finished cabinets. That proximity between design and build means changes happen quickly, quality is checked in real time, and nothing leaves until it meets our standard.
Over the years we've refined our process, not to speed things up, but to remove the friction that typically makes custom work stressful. Clear drawings, firm schedules, and a single point of contact from first sketch to final install.
We've outgrown the space twice and kept the same phone number through every move. Some of our clients are on their second or third project with us. That says more than any brochure ever could.
